Recently John Edwards of Shamrock FC Radio had a chance to interview the fighters of the Co-Main Event, Anthony Lemon and Mike Brazzle and Main Event Fighters James Warfield and Kevin Engel. The event takes place at Shamorkc FC Nemesis on September 13, 2014 at the River City Casino. Here are the transcripts of those interviews.
Shamrock FC Radio: You are fighting on a quick turnaround, how are you feeling and will you be ready to go on September 13th?
Anthony Lemon: I feel great after my last fight and I will definitely be ready to go on the 13th.
Shamrock FC Radio: What do you know about your opponent Mike Brazzle and what was intriguing that you wanted to take this fight?
Anthony Lemon: I’ve heard he is a wrestler and grappler and he wants to hold you down and make you submit, I like to fight guys like him, I’m a wrestler myself and have been so my whole life but I am really good at my striking too. I am really excited for this fight and to see where this goes.
Shamrock FC Radio: So the wrestling won’t be an issue, will you try to keep this fight standing up?
Anthony Lemon: I’m going to try to keep this fight on my feet most definitely and I’m looking forward to a huge win here.
Shamrock FC Radio: Do you feel this fight with Mike Brazzle will be a stepping stone for you to get back into Bellator?
Anthony Lemon: Yes sir!
Shamrock FC Radio: Are you predicting a knockout in this fight?
Anthony Lemon: Not just a knockout but a TKO in the second round
