Sammie Henson is one of the most decorated wrestlers in US history. Sammie earned the title of World Champion in 1998 and became an Olympic silver medalist at the 2000 Sydney Games.
Sammie will now be stepping into the broadcast booth as color commentator for Shamrock Fighting Championships along side play by play commentator Jeremy Johnson.
Shamrock FC President Jesse Finney is thrilled to have someone with Sammie’s credentials joining the team and stated “Anytime you get a chance to have a Olympian and a world champion to your team you have to jump on it”
Look for Sammie to make his debut in January for “Shamrock FC 314” January 12th at Ameristar Casino in St. Louis and on FloCombat outlets.
