The Shamrock FC Professional Welterweight Championship is on the line at Shamrock FC 317, when Bobby “Vicious” Voelker and Cameron VanCamp meet in the main event in a battle of red-hot 170-pound contenders,
at Ameristar Casino in Kansas City, Mo., on April 6, LIVE on FloCombat.
Voelker, a well-traveled UFC and Strikeforce FC vet, is hunting for his fourth straight finish for Shamrock FC, while VanCamp enters fight night on the strength of three straight wins, and six victories in his past seven outings.
A professional since 2006, the 39-year-old Voelker holds an 8-1 record in the Shamrock FC cage. VanCamp, 25, is 13 years the junior of Voelker and is hoping a win over another UFC vet propels him to the UFC’s Octagon or Bellator MMA cage in 2019.
Hot on the heels of a record-setting, nine-second KO win for Shamrock FC in December, Jacob “Gerber Baby” Thrall tries to climb to 5-1-1 against the fast-rising Cortavious Romious (3-0), who’s gunning for his fourth straight stoppage victory, in the co-main event.
In kickboxing action, Brad Ragan takes on Brandon Breault in a battle of crowd-pleasing heavy-hitters.
To kick off the pro portion of the event, Nick Radtka returns to action in pursuit of his third professional MMA win against Aaron Poston (11-6).
Also at the event, Travis Sumler takes on Tim Jackson for our Amateur Bantamweight Championship, and Andrew Floyd locks horns with Jeremy White for our Amateur Light-Heavyweight Championship.
