KANSAS CITY, MO — T he Midwest’s premier combat sports promotion is set to electrify
Ameristar Casino Kansas City once again, as Shamrock Fighting Championships brings a
stacked night of MMA and Kickboxing action to the cage on Saturday, October 10th.
Fans can expect an adrenaline-fueled evening featuring some of the region’s toughest
veterans and fastest-rising prospects.
In the evening’s main event, Kansas City’s own Tyson “The Battleship” Hicks returns to
action in a 165-pound professional MMA showdown against Arkansas finisher Andrew
Horowitz. Known for his explosive power and athleticism, Hicks looks to thrill the
hometown crowd, while Horowitz enter s the cage carrying a reputation for slick
submissions and the ability to end fights on the ground.
The co-main event features a high-stakes light heavyweight clash, as newly awarded
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt James “Funky Cold” Regina squares off with undefeated
New York prospect Mike Boyle. With Regina’s technical ground game and Boyle’s
untested but dangerous skillset, this bout promises fireworks.
